Breville Toaster Oven Review by Elden
Since receiving this little gem we’ve used it whenever we can over our conventional oven unless whatever we’re doing just won’t fit. It’s easy to use and works quite well and uses less energy because it cooks in less time. There are already many other reviews so I’ll not repeat what has already been said, but do feel compelled to dispell some myths that have been applied to this oven. Nowhere in the manual is it said that you cannot use foil in the oven. What it says is to be careful how you use it making sure it is applied tightly and kept away from the heating elements as they are not the same as in a convential oven. Also, it does not say you cannot put glass in the oven. You are cautioned to ensure you are using “oven proof” cookware. Another reviewer mentioned a bamboo cutting board which is now available that once mounted on the top of the oven allows items to be placed on top even when it’s being used regaining your counter space especially if you have a small kitchen. Oh, and we replaced a micro-wave oven which we seldom used with one we use mostly daily and we don’t miss it a bit…
